11-12 MAR | 1st International Conference on Migration and Gender Issues

On 11 and 12 March (8 AM – 2 PM WET | 9 AM – 3 PM CET), ‘The Alfred Nobel University’ (Ukraine) will be hosting the first edition of COMAGI – Conference on Migration and Gender Issues.

Bringing together an interdisciplinary group of scholars in the humanities and social sciences, this conference will establish, consolidate, and sustain a network of academics who share an interest in migration and gender studies worldwide. ‘Women’s empowerment in action’, ‘Gender equality and social policy’, ‘Authoritarianism and gender issues’ or ‘Challenges of women’s and labour migration during the COVID pandemic’, are some of the topics that will be covered during the event.

CEI-Iscte is part of the COMAGI organization committee and Paula Morgado, CEI-Iscte associated researcher, is a member of the conference’s scientific committee.
