20 MAR | Conference: “States at Work. The ethnographic study of public services in Africa”

The International Cycle of PhD Conferences of ESPP, which takes place throughout the academic year, includes conferences organized under the PhD programs thereof in the areas of Political Science, Communication, African Studies, History, Security and Defense Studies, Public Policy, Social Service, and Sociology.

On March 20, we welcome guest speaker Thomas Bierschenk with a communication entitled “States at Work: The Ethnographic Study of Public Services in Africa”.

The session will take place in auditorium B2.03, building II (ISCTE-IUL), at 6:00 p.m. Free entrance.
