CEI is currently accepting proposals for MSCA fellowships

CEI-Iscte is currently accepting proposals for being the host institution of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowships (IF).
About the call

This call is open to researchers who have a doctoral degree or at least four years’ full-time research experience by the time of the call deadline.

You have the choice to apply for a European Fellowship if you are moving within the EU or associated countries or if you are interested to come to the EU or an associated country from any other country in the world. Within this strand, two panels are particularly attractive for scientists who want to pick-up their research career after a break (Career Restart Panel) or who had worked outside Europe for a while and would like to return (Reintegration Panel).

Candidates may be of any nationality and should not have resided or performed their principal research activity in Portugal for more than 12 months before September 9th 2020.

The closing date for the MSCA-IF-2020 call and WIDENING-IF-2020 call is 9th September 2020. The candidates are advised to submit their Expression of interest to Iscte as early as possible (final deadline for submitting the Expression of interest will be 15th July 2020).

The Expression of interest should include following information:

  • Scientific area
  • Curriculum vitae (last 5 years)
  • Summary of the work plan with defined objectives (500 words)
  • Identification of one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to be covered by the project proposal
  • Preference to be hosted by CEI

The Expression of interest should be submitted by email to gai@iscte-iul.pt with the subject “Expression of interest for the MSCA Individual Fellowship – name of the candidate”.

The candidates will be informed within the 5 working days of the results of the evaluation process.
