7 NOV | Elusive Peace and Organised Crime in Colombia: What is in Store for the Country after ‘No’ Vote?

CEI-IUL will receive Dr Markus Schultze-Kraft, from the Institute of Development Studies (University of Sussex), for an International Studies Seminar concerning the consequences and future prospects for Colombia, after the failed referendum to reach a peace agreement between the government and the FARC. The event will take place on November 7 at 18h, in Auditorium J.J. Laginha (building Sedas Nunes, ISCTE-IUL)

About the speaker

For more than fifteen years, Dr Markus Schultze-Kraft has been conducting inter-disciplinary, policy-relevant research of the highest quality in key fields of governance, government, public policy, and international relations, with a specific focus on state fragility, armed conflict, transnational organized crime/non-conventional threats, security, rule of law, peace-building, illicit drug policy, and development.
