FCT Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus – 5th Edition 2022
CEI-Iscte informs that the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus 2022, promoted by FCT (Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology), aimed at PhD holders is open.
CEI-Iscte (Centre for International Studies at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa) – a multidisciplinary research centre, focusing on international developments of the 21st century and on complex social, political, and economic challenges that transcend national and international barriers – invites all those interested in developing their post-doctoral research plan with CEI as the host institution to express their interest through the email cei@iscte-iul.pt, by sending us a cover letter, a research plan, and curriculum vitae until February 16, 2022.
On your application indicate the category to which you are applying, taking into account FCT’s reference categories:
Junior researcher – PhD holders 5 years or less ago, with reduced post-doctoral research experience in the scientific area to which they are applying.
Assistant Researcher – PhDs with more than 5 and less than 12 years of experience, with a relevant curriculum in the scientific area to which they apply and with limited scientific independence.
Principal Investigator – with a doctorate degree for more than 12 years, a relevant curriculum in the scientific area to which they are applying, and some degree of scientific independence in the last three years.
Coordinating Researcher – holders of a Doctoral Degree or Aggregation in Portugal, with a curriculum of high merit in the scientific area to which they are applying, demonstrating scientific independence and with evidence of leadership in the scientific area to which they are applying.
The Individual Call for Applications is open to doctoral candidates of any nationality or stateless person holding a degree in any scientific area who wish to carry out scientific research or technological development in Portugal.
The call is open from 3 February 2022 until 17:00 (Lisbon time) on 3 March 2022.
Applications are submitted electronically, in English, through the electronic platform to be made available in due time.
CEI’s decision to accept the candidates will be communicated until 5 working days after the reception of the proposal.
