CALL | 2 Research Grants: Transnational networks for regenerative development in Europe
CEI-Iscte announces 2 positions for Research Grants (BI) for Master degree holders, in the scope of the research project EuroREGEN, financed by FCT.
Research project: Transnational networks for regenerative development in Europe: A comparative perspective on grassroots mobilisation and policy advocacy (EuroREGEN).
Admission Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies, Social Solidarity Economy, Sociology, Political Ecology, Political Science, International Relations, or other related discipline in the social sciences with a focus on regenerative development, collective action, and diverse economies.
- Enrolment in a Doctoral programme in Environmental and Sustainability Studies, Social Solidarity Economy, Sociology, Political Ecology, Political Science, International Relations, or other related discipline in the social sciences with a focus on regenerative development, collective action, and diverse economies.
- Desirable experience with qualitative methodologies (e.g., interviewing, participation observation, focus groups) and/or in designing and analysing surveys.
- Knowledge and research experience with global networks (e.g., GEN – Global Ecovillage Network, RIPESS – Intercontinental network for the promotion of social solidarity economy, TN – Transition Network).
- Knowledge and research experience in civil society / public sector relations and multi-level policy analysis (local, national, transnational / supranational).
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Portuguese and English. Working knowledge of French and Italian valued (but not required).
