The School of Sociology and Public Policy (ESPP) is organising a Doctoral Conference entitled “Effective Writing up of a qualitative PhD”, with guest speaker David Silverman.
The event will take place on March 22, at 6 p.m., in auditorium B2.04 (building II, ISCTE-IUL). Entrance is free.
About the lecturer
David Silverman is Professor Emeritus in the Sociology Department at Goldsmiths College, London, Visiting Professor in the Management Department at King’s College, University of London and the Business School, University of Technology, Sydney as well as Adjunct Professor at QUT.
He has authored 15 books and more than 50 journal articles on qualitative research, ethnography and conversation analysis.
